Privacy policy

In short
- The PPC Times uses no tracking or advertising cookies, no advertising and no social media plugins.
- We don't store your IP address and we can't identify you.
- You don't need an account to read the site, and we don't collect personal data through forms.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical connection data to deliver the site securely.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and only shows us totals, never individual visitors.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed on this website (GDPR art. 4(7)) is:
ADSEA INNOVATIONS SL
Calle La Paz, Nº 9, Puerta BJ, 46114 Vinalesa, Valencia, Spain
Tax ID: B23945652
Email: contact@ppctimes.com
We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for this website.
2. Visiting the website (hosting by Cloudflare)
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, through its global network. When you open a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data to Cloudflare's servers: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system.
- Purpose: delivering the pages and protecting the site against attacks and abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Our access: we don't receive or store these connection logs. Cloudflare keeps them for a short period under its own policies.
- Processor agreement: Cloudflare acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum (GDPR art. 28).
- Transfers outside the EU: Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and its Data Processing Addendum includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR arts. 45 and 46).

3. Article view counter
To show our "Most viewed" list, your browser tells our counter which article you opened. We store only the article's address, the date and a running total. We don't store your IP address or any identifier, and nothing is saved on your device. The totals can't be linked to you, so they are not personal data. The request itself passes through Cloudflare as described in section 2. Daily totals are deleted after 90 days.
4. Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To understand how many people read the site and which articles they find useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused statistics service from our hosting provider. When a page loads, a small script sends Cloudflare the page address, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type, your approximate country, and how fast the page loaded. Like every request, it also carries your IP address.
- No cookies, no tracking: according to Cloudflare, the service does not set cookies or use local storage, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you across websites.
- What we see: only aggregated totals, such as visits, page views, top pages, referring websites, countries and device types. We cannot identify individual visitors.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Because nothing is stored on your device, no consent is required.
- Processor and transfers: Cloudflare acts as our processor, with the same agreement and transfer safeguards described in section 2.
- Your choice: you can object at any time by emailing us, or block the script with a content blocker or by disabling JavaScript; the site keeps working.
More information: Cloudflare Web Analytics.
5. Fonts, images and other resources
All fonts and images are served from our own domain. The only script loaded from another domain is Cloudflare Web Analytics (static.cloudflareinsights.com, see section 4). Pages make no requests to Google Fonts, social networks, advertising networks or other third parties.
6. Links to other websites
Articles link to their sources and to other websites. Nothing is sent to those sites until you click a link. After that, the other site's privacy policy applies.
7. Contacting us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you (GDPR art. 6(1)(f), or art. 6(1)(b) where your request relates to a contract). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless we are legally required to keep it.
8. People named in our articles
Our articles report on public statements and professional activity in the advertising industry, which can include names of people and links to their public posts. We do this for journalistic purposes (GDPR art. 85 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, LOPDGDD). If you are named in an article and want something corrected or removed, email us and we will review your request promptly.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (art. 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (art. 16)
- have your data erased (art. 17)
- restrict processing (art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 21)
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@ppctimes.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), or the authority in your own EU country.
10. No automated decisions
We don't make automated decisions about you or create profiles (GDPR art. 22).
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our cookie policy and legal notice.
